I am thrilled Medium has brought back custom domains.

I am thinking of bringing www.merecivilian.com to Medium. Now, all I have to find out is how to bring my content from Ghost to Medium.

Question: one has to be a member to enable the custom domain feature. However, once this feature is enabled, will it continue to work if the Medium membership is not renewed?
